To successfully complete the NEET 2025 application process, candidates need to follow three major steps:

  1. Step One – Register on the NEET official website.
  2. Step Two – Fill out the application form with all necessary details.
  3. Step Three – Pay the examination fee online.

Upon successful completion of all steps, candidates will receive a confirmation email on their registered email ID.

Step One – Registration

Follow these steps to register for NEET 2025:

  1. Visit the official NEET website: https://neet.nta.nic.in/
  2. Click on “Candidate Activity” > NEET(UG)-2025 Registration and Online Application Form.
  3. Click on “Register Your Profile”.
  4. Enter your basic personal details, including:
    • Name, Date of Birth, Gender
    • Mobile Number and Email ID
    • Nationality, Category, and Other Identification Details
  5. After submitting the form, an Application Number will be generated. This Application Number will be used to log in and complete the remaining steps of the application.

Step Two – Application Filling

After successfully generating the application number, candidates must:

  1. Login using the application number and password.
  2. Fill in the required details, including:
    • Personal Information: Name, Date of Birth, Nationality, Contact Details.
    • Choice of Examination City & Language: Select the preferred exam city and the language of the question paper.
    • Educational Qualifications: Details of Class 10 and Class 12 academic records.
  3. Upload required documents as per the prescribed size and format.

Important Guidelines for Uploading Photographs & Signatures:

  • Ensure that your photograph and signature are clearly visible before submitting the application form.
  • If the photograph or signature is blurred, the application will be rejected with no chance for correction.
  • No changes will be allowed once the form is submitted.

Step Three – Make Fee Payment

The final step in the application process is the payment of the examination fee.

MBBS UG Counselling process

MBBS UG Counselling happens on two levels – All India Counselling and State Counselling. One person can register for both counsellings, but separate forms have to be filled out for each. Also, registration amounts and security deposits are also separate for each counselling.

National Medical Council conducts this counselling and all details for the same are provided at mcc.nic.in. The colleges and the quota in each is mentioned under:

  1. 15% of all state seats (government medical colleges)
  2. 100% of Deemed and Central University seats
  3. 100% of AIIMS seats (all 20 AIIMS across India)
  4. 100% of AFMC seats
  5. 100% of ESIC and JIPMER seats
